Retail is a fast moving, dynamic business and as a Retailer has to change their business in response to opportunities and threats, so the Workforce Management system must also reflect and support these changes. Otherwise the system will start to produce unworkable schedules and quickly fall out of favor at store level.

To ensure this does not occur, LSI has developed a Workforce Management System 'Assessment' that looks at both Labor Standards and the Workforce Management software's configuration. Again working with the Retailer's team, LSI periodically looks at the validity of the Labor Standards and the processes in areas where there has been change, recommending and implementing revised standards and processes to reflect these changes. In some cases there may be fundamental changes to the Operating Model which needs to be revised in the software.

The investment in Workforce Management in time and money can be considerable and so it pays to ensure the system is aligned to the business and that compliance is assured.
